Twisted Lace Leaf Socks

November 12th, 2007

With a twist here, and a leaf there, these “easier to knit than they look” socks are a fun and captivating knit. A twisted stitch is used for the baby cables (Look Ma, no cable needle!). And strategically placed yarn overs and decreases form the lacy leaves. Baby cables on the ribbing and heel enhance the overall pattern.

Knit with Koigu KPPPM [100% Merino Wool, 175yds/160m, 50g ball]; color #2190; 2 skeins; on size 2 needles with a gauge of 7 sts per inch.

Large, easy to read charts make this lace pattern a breeze.
